Feeling better

The last few days have gotten better each day. We continue to be impressed by how nice the staff are. The person there until Thursday was very intensely helpful and kind to Chelsey.  The weekend person that has been with CHelsey is a little more hands off, but kind, which may have been better for Chelsey to feel more herself as she was given a little more alone time, plus she's had her gaming systems installed so she could play her favorite games. While at first Chelsey seemed frail and lost in the group home, now she seems more content, more animated, and more at peace.

Saturday we took Chelsey on an outing to her favorite store, Gamestop, and she was very animated and cheerful.  Still lacking in appetite, she didn't drink the McDonald's milkshake she had seemed happy to order, other than that it was a wonderful time together.

  1. I am so pleased that Chelsey is settling right in. We're thinking of you. Sis. Wall
